The #1000 grit Sharpening Stone from Niwaki is ideal for regular sharpening and maintenance. A gently concave edge helps guide the correct angle along the blade, while the flat face can be used for broader tools and finishing.

HOW TO USE

- Soak the stone in water before use until bubbles stop rising. Keep stone wet as you work.

- Using the concave edge, follow the curve of the blade from pivot to tip with a gentle back and forth motion. For straight blades, use the flat side.

- Finish by removing any burr with the flat face, then clean, dry, and lightly oil your tools.
